Soft landing for an Argentine services company
An Argentine professional services firm wins the account of a multinational that wants to be served from Mexico by a local team, under a contract estimated at USD 300,000 per year. To contract it, the client needs a Mexican supplier with tax registration, electronic invoicing, a local bank account and registration in its supplier database.
Setting up a subsidiary would take several months before the first invoice. Instead, Aurea structures a soft landing: a Mexican company of the group contracts with the client, provides the service in Mexico with its own operations, invoices with VAT and collects payment. From Buenos Aires, the Argentine company provides the specialized services that correspond to it, with a contract, deliverables and an international invoice.
Each month, the money follows the same order: taxes are set aside first, then local operations and the agreed fees are covered, and finally the Argentine company is paid against deliverables and an invoice, with any applicable withholdings. The Argentine company keeps the relationship with its client and can set up its own company in Mexico once the account is consolidated.

The problem we solve
Without a Mexican company, the account cannot be contracted or invoiced in Mexico. Setting up a subsidiary before the account is consolidated means months of paperwork and fixed costs that start before the first revenue.
The client contracts a Mexican supplier. The Argentine company operates from the first month.
Time to start invoicing in Mexico
With a soft landing, the timeline depends on the contracts and on registration as a supplier. A company of your own needs its entire structure in place before the first invoice.
